Site Development Continues

A month ago, Bruton Young Bookkeeping had no website. The old site that Clare designed and ran for 5 years was decommissioned and this shiny new one was set up to show more about what we do, and to give our clients and friends more information and tools to use. I hope you’ll agree that we are getting there with adding content but if there is anything not included that you would like to see please comment and we will do our best to add it for you.   Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new...

Pensions Auto Enrolment

If you are a registered employer and pay staff through a payroll then the introduction of Pensions Auto Enrolment means that you have an obligation to automatically enrol your employees into a pension scheme. The date from which this needs to happen (called your staging date) varies according to the size of your payroll. You can find out your staging date here Your status as an employer mean that you will need to assess the types of worker that you have, provide a qualifying scheme, automatically enrol your staff onto that scheme where they are eligible, and pay your employer contributions. Your contributions will eventually need to be at least 3% of your employee’s qualifying pensionable earnings but to help employers to adjust to the changes there will be a starting rate of 1% rising to 3% eventually. For more information or to register for our payroll service, which includes access to auto-enrolment ready software, please contact us.
